3. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
The minimum age requirement to access this website is 13 years old and are applicable to all barring those ‘Incompetent to Contract’ which inter alia include insolvents under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Any information entered by the User when transacting on the Website is encrypted to protect the User against unintentional disclosure to third parties. The User’s credit and debit card information is not received, stored by or retained by the Company / Website in any manner. This information is supplied by the User directly to the relevant payment gateway which is authorized to handle the information provided, and is compliant with the regulations and requirements of various banks and institutions and payment franchisees that it is associated with.

The following payment options are available on the Application:

As prescribed by the financial institutions issuing the credit or debit cards affiliated with Visa / Master Card / Amex, the User will be required to submit his/her 16-digit card number, card expiry date and 3-digit CVV number (usually on the reverse of the card) while making an online transaction. The User must also have enrolled his/her card with VBV (Verified by Visa), MSC (MasterCard Secure Code) or any other applicable provider in order to complete the transaction. The User is hereby expressly made aware that his/her card statements will reflect that a payment has been made in favour of the Payment Gateway Company.[l4]
The User is further aware that in case of third party statements, including bank and credit card statements, the merchant name may appear in an abbreviated format, and the Company has no control over the same. To successfully subscribe on the Website, the User is required to complete the transaction by making the payment for the services opted for.
8.1 DISCLAIMER FOR STUDENTS REGARDING NTAT
a) Refund of fees (full refund or partial refund as the situation may be) should be claimed by maximum 15 days before the date of NTAT exam. In other cases, no refund will be permitted.
b) Appeal for reassessment of exam papers: No appeal for reassessment will be entertained by Switch Idea for whatever reason.
c) Relocation of venue of exam: Once the hall ticket is sent along with the venue mentioned, no request for change of venue will be entertained although there could be more than one center in a particular city for the NTAT Exam.
d) Candidates who engage in any kind of misconduct or disruptive or offensive behavior shall be dismissed from the test. For instance: giving or receiving help, taking part in an act of impersonation, removing test materials or notes from the testing room, using offensive language, damaging venue property and behavior that delays or interrupts testing.
e) Kindly do not litter in the venue property or induce/get-involved in any violent activities. You will be liable financially for these actions. Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the supervisor at the earliest.
f) There is no provision for rechecking of your test results. The answer sheets shall be evaluated digitally thereby providing the candidates with a 100% accuracy of the results.
g) Questions not attempted will result in zero mark and wrong answers will result in NO NEGATIVE marks. If time permits, answer all the questions for maximum weightage.
8.2 DISCLAIMER FOR REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR NEW STUDENT SUBSCRIPTION (non-NTAT Certified)
Subscription fees for the first subscription are non-refundable; except that you may cancel renewed subscription by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org within two (2) calendar days after renewal date and receive a full refund of the renewed subscription fees.
Right of access granted under these Terms is effective only upon payment of the subscription fees.
You may deactivate your account at anytime by emailing us on email@example.com
Once your account is deactivated from the Switch Idea, you won’t be able to apply to any of the internships unless and until you upgrade your account.
No refunds will be refunded to a student upon deactivation.
- Students have the ability to upgrade or downgrade their subscription plan for the Switch Idea services at any time. For any kind of upgrade or downgrade in subscription, student has to write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to downgrade your subscription (eg from two years module to one year module) you can contact us on email@example.com, with regards to downgrades on a subscription, Switch Idea does not issue any refunds.
Without limiting any other remedies, Switch Idea may suspend or terminate your account if we suspect that the user (by conviction, settlement, insurance or investigation, or otherwise) have engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the services offered by us.
- All prices are subject to change without notice. Every effort has been made to ensure accurate pricing of the services featured on our website. The services can be prevailed and the listed price can be changed on sole discretion of Switch Idea, A user is advised to refer to our latest terms and conditions on this page before making a purchase.
9. USER OBLIGATIONS

In case of a dispute, the matter will first be attempted to be resolved by a sole mediator who is a neutral third party and will be selected at the mutual acceptance of a proposed mediator by both parties. Both parties may raise a name for the sole mediator and in the case both parties accept the proposed name, the said person shall be appointed as sole mediator. In case the parties are not able to reach a consensus within two proposed mediators, the Company reserves the right to decide who the final mediator is. The decision of the mediator is not binding on both parties.
b. Stage 2: Arbitration. In case that mediation does not yield a result suitable or preferred by any one of the parties, arbitration may follow, the award of which is binding on both parties. The Arbitration Board shall comprise three members – one appointed by each party and the third member to be nominated by the two appointed members by mutual consent. Arbitration shall be held at Maharashtra, India. The proceedings of arbitration shall be in the English language. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding on the Parties.
If the dispute cannot be resolved by this two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism, it shall be referred to the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra. [l5]

18. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
A Refund of fees (full refund or partial refund as the situation may be) should be claimed by maximum 15 days before the date of NTAT exam. In other cases, no refund will be permitted[l1] .
20. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
a. Entire Agreement: The terms and conditions set forth in this Section 3 and any additional or different terms expressly agreed by Client and Service vendor shall constitute the entire agreement and understanding of Client and Service vendor with respect to each Service Contract and shall cancel and supersede any other prior or contemporaneous discussions, agreements, representations, warranties, and/or other communications between them. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Client and Service vendor shall always remain subject to the terms of the by Mottled Technologies Private Limited user Agreement.
b. Waiver: The failure of either party at any time to require performance of any provision of this Agreement in no manner shall affect such party's right at a later time to enforce the same. No waiver by either party of any breach of this Agreement, whether by conduct or otherwise, in any one or more instances, shall be deemed to be, or construed as, a further or continuing waiver of any other such breach, or a waiver of any other breach of this Agreement.
c. Severability: If any provision of this Agreement shall to any extent be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall in no way be affected or impaired thereby and each such provision of this Agreement shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. In such a case, this Agreement shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to correct any invalidity, illegality or unenforceability, while preserving to the maximum extent the rights and commercial expectations of the parties hereto, as expressed herein.
21. BLACKLIST RULES (FOR CANDIDATES)
Rule 1: Selecting an inappropriate period of availability
The student is required to mention his/her availability dates in the student profile.If the student is not available for a particular time frame the UNAVAILABLE option is to be selected.
In this case the student will be responsible for the incorrect availability mentioned.
Rule 2: One Internship One Student Policy
It is of primary importance for the student to apply for companies only if he/she wants to work with the company and not just for the sake of applying.
SwitchIdea follows One Internship One Student Policy.The conditions given below apply for a Particular Internship Season(Summer Season - March to July/ Winter Season - November to January):
If the student has applied for multiple internships and gets an offer from a particular company, it is mandatory for him/her to accept the offer within the specified deadline of 48 hours from the communication of selection from the company.
If the student receives another offer within 48 hours of receiving the first offer, he/she has an option to choose from the multiple offers within 48 hours of receiving the first offer
The selected student will not be considered for the other subsequent companies he/she has applied for.
The selected student should also keep in mind that he/she cannot apply for more companies once he/she gets an offer.
Failure to accept an offer will result in blacklisting of the student’s profile for one year by Switch Idea.
Rule 3: Failure to respond to an interview invitation
If the candidate fails to respond to the interview call either by the HR of the company or by the Switch Idea support team his application of internship to that company would be rejected.
First failure to respond: You will not be allowed for applying to any internships on Switch Idea for one year.
Second failure to respond: Blacklisting of the profile for three years.
Rule 4: Cancellation of an interview
Switch Idea does not encourage interview cancellations. However, if you must cancel an interview, you are required to notify the support team at firstname.lastname@example.org at least two business days in advance of the scheduled interview time, so that another student may interview in your place.
If you cancel an interview less than two business days in advance of the scheduled interview (see below), this is considered a last-minute cancellation. You are responsible for contacting the Support team at email@example.com as well as the employer with your reasons for canceling the interview, as soon as possible. A copy of your email to the employer must also be mailed to the Support team.
First last-minute cancellation: You will not be allowed for applying to any internships on Switch Idea for one year.
Second last-minute cancellation: Your profile in Switch Idea will be blacklisted prohibiting you from applying to internships in future.
22. PROFANITY POLICY
- We expect quite high standards of professionalism from the students during their internship.
- If any user is found to detain standards of professionalism during his/her tenure of internship in any form, necessary action will be taken by Switch Idea.
- If any student absconds his internship before the completion of his/her tenure, he/she will be blacklisted from Switch Idea for two years.
- The students should observe that they are not only representing themselves but also their family, their college, their community as well as Switch Idea in front of the employer during their selection/internship.
- Thus, it is mandatory for a student to maintain discipline and follow all the guidelines mentioned above.
