Internship DescriptionWe are looking for individuals who are motivated and want to experience working in the social sector and the education industry. LEAP works in backward regions, so willingness to travel to small towns is necessary. Interns are needed for the Propeller Program- a program started for school students in Haryana. The program existing interns include undergraduate students University of Pennsylvania, professionals from large organisations like TCS and the LEAP faculty. We also want open minded individuals who are ready to pitch in with ideas and whatever other work needs to be done. Also, it is going to be a lot of fun!
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible to:  Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.  Organize the program.  Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization.  Engage volunteers for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices.  Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program.  Assist stakeholders to leverage the program and participate effectively.  Write reports and manage information on the Professional Virtual Community.
