Internship Description

Minimum Requirements for the candidates applying to Business Development (Sales) Internship at Mealocity Food Tech:


Internship Start Date: Between 31st July'17 and 14th Aug'17.

Project Availability: 3 months (preferred, not mandatory)

Preferred Degree(s): are pursuing any degree but have relevant skills and interest

Degree Year: Currently in any year of study or recent graduates

At Mealocity Food Tech (Mumbai), Interns are expected to be professionally well-versed with basic ethics, which includes arriving on time (as specified by the company), notifying the team leader of any deviations from the established schedule, and dressing to the standards of the organization and the work being performed. Respect the organization’s reporting structure and follow the policies and procedures of the organization.

During the internship tenure, intern will be be working on following verticals (ingroup or individually)

1.  Research new products and services that the company can incorporate to meet the demands by merchants.

2. Explore and negotiate the prospect of acquiring other similar merchants.

3. Generate ideas, concepts, and systems for achieving more sales of products and services.

4. Ensure the company achieves and maintains a competitive edge.

5. Responsible for lead generation, managing relationship and client meetings.

6. Negotiate and close business deals with merchants.

7. Develop marketing campaigns that compliment company sales strategies.

8. Raise awareness for company and its products.

9. Identify requirements for new products and services and anticipate a possible and potential system that will lead the market.

10. Respond to the needs of merchants and manage sales processes.

11. Manage certain accounts of the company.

12. Meet and exceed targets that should do with revenue activities, customer acquisition, profit margin, and general growth of the company.

13. Ensure quality processes and standards to take advantage of opportunities as they come, and to acquire new customers.

14. Develop effective working relationships with clients.
