Technical Support Internship
At Jarma Technologies LLP (Mumbai), Interns are expected to be professionally well-versed with basic ethics, which includes arriving on time (as specified by the company), notifying the team leader of any deviations from the established schedule, and dressing to the standards of the organization and the work being performed. Respect the organization’s reporting structure and follow the policies and procedures of the organization.
During the internship tenure, intern will be be working on following verticals (in group or individually):
1. Providing technical and diagnostic support for all hardware/software problems to our clients remotely or on-site.
2. Maintaining overall ownership of users issue & service ensuring resolution within agreed service levels.
3. Managing the help-desk system by recording appropriate information for fault incident and resolving the fault from a remote location or by accessing the user's desktop or onsite.
4. Managing service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
5. Troubleshooting hardware & network related issues.
6. Troubleshooting specific software related issues.
7. Troubleshooting operating system and general software related issues.
8. Recording escalations from customers and notify the IT head on any operational escalations and complaints.
9. Resolving the queries in accordance with help-desk escalation process.
10. Handling onsite installations and technical demos (Mumbai or outside).
