At Sura Systems Private Limited (Chennai), Interns are expected to be professionally well-versed with basic ethics, which includes arriving on time (as specified by the company), notifying the team leader of any deviations from the established schedule, and dressing to the standards of the organization and the work being performed. Respect the organization’s reporting structure and follow the policies and procedures of the organization.
During the internship tenure, intern will be working on following verticals (in group or individually):
1. Developing & working on Deep Learning models in Vision.
2. Assisting in the mobile/Android development.

SURA SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED ( SuraSys ) develops Machine Learning Solutions and applications across domains such as Natural Language Processing, Speech, Image, Video and Machine Vision. They work on cutting edge platforms such as Hadoop, H20, Spark, Drill, Neo4J, FlockDB, MongoDB. For front end They primarily use Django and Rails. They are currently developing ML based device independent products in the cloud. They work exclusively in Amazon Web Services, Heroku and Rackspace. In the last two years they have worked on developing a Sentiment Analysis Engine, Near Duplicate Detection algorithms and legal eDiscovery engine and Record Linkage and name disambiguation solution for their US based clients. All three are in production. They have developed several web based solutions for US and Canada based startups that have been sold to OEMs and other companies. Their web applications are developed in Django and Rails and are hosted in AWS and Heroku. They are primarily an algorithm development company which specializes in developing highly scalable solutions and applications.
